Diganta Travels & Typing is the data controller for this website. Our contact details are in the "How to contact us" section below.
Trade licence number: [TO BE CONFIRMED].
We keep the collection deliberately small. There is no account to create, no login, and no profile stored on this site.
To answer your enquiry we need your contact details, because we cannot reply without them.
For the newsletter we use your address only for the fare and visa updates you asked for, and every message includes a way to stop.
In both cases you have asked us to do something and we cannot do it without your details.
Enquiry messages: [TO BE CONFIRMED].
Newsletter address: kept until you ask us to remove it, or the newsletter ends.
Analytics data: Google retains it for [TO BE CONFIRMED].
We do not sell or rent your data. These services process it on our behalf, and they are named because they receive it when you use the site:
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful. It stays switched off until you accept. When you decline, no analytics cookie is set and your visit is not recorded.
If you accept, Google may store cookies and identifiers to tell returning visitors apart and count page views accurately. You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer.
To avoid being tracked at all, install a content blocker or use your browser's tracking protection.
Only if you have accepted analytics, and only when you submit one of our forms, we also send Google a hashed copy of the name, email address and phone number you typed, alongside the fact that the form was submitted. The hashing happens in your browser using SHA-256 before anything is transmitted, so the readable values are never sent.
This is called user-provided data. Google uses it to link your enquiry to an advertising click and to report how effectively our advertising brings in genuine enquiries, rather than counting every form submission as equally valuable.
A hashed value cannot be read back into your name or number, but it is worth being straight about the limit: hashing is not the same as anonymity, because a short or predictable value such as a phone number can in principle be guessed and checked. That is why we send nothing at all unless you have accepted analytics, and why we send only the three fields listed above.
If you accept analytics but would rather we send none of this, say so and we will note it.
Some of these services store data on servers outside the UAE. Where your information leaves the country it is transferred under the safeguards those providers apply, including their own contractual and security commitments.
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or give you a copy in a portable format.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We aim to reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE data protection authority.
Enquiries are sent to a password-protected email account rather than stored in a database on this site, which reduces what a compromise could expose. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send original identity documents through an open form.
This website is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. Material changes will be posted here rather than made quietly.
