Fares on the AUH–DAC and AUH–ZYL routes move with a predictable pattern around Eid and school holidays.
Fares between Abu Dhabi and Bangladesh follow a fairly predictable seasonal pattern, and knowing it can save a genuine amount of money.
The steepest jumps happen in the two to three weeks before Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, when demand on the AUH–DAC, AUH–CGP and AUH–ZYL routes outpaces available seats. Booking six to eight weeks ahead of these windows consistently gets better fares than waiting.
Outside of Eid, the summer school-holiday period (June–August) is the second busiest stretch, driven by families travelling with children. Mid-week departures — Tuesday and Wednesday in particular — tend to run cheaper than Thursday and Friday flights year-round.
For flexible travellers, the quietest and cheapest windows are typically late January through February, and again in October, once both Eid and summer demand have cleared.
If your dates are fixed around a holiday, we recommend locking a fare as soon as fixed-date leave is approved rather than waiting for a "better deal" that rarely arrives that close to the holiday.
